Psytech software

At the moment there are a number of software products available from Psytech. GeneSys3 is supplied with all of Psytech's tests, chargeable on a pay-per-use basis and has recently been updated to a highly attractive new report format which integrates seamlessly with the user's own word processor. Scanning software is also available to import paper and pencil administered tests into GeneSys3.

GeneSys Online 360° Manager

The GeneSys Online 360° Manager is now completly online and integrated with the GeneSys Online Data Management system. To Register for a Free 360 account please contact Psytech on 01525 720003 (or your local GeneSys distributor). There are no limits to the number of people you can include in an appraisal, and you pay nothing until you request a report. Reports are charged at 1 credit per person included in the report (1 Credit = £3).

360° Appraisal Manager has been designed to allow you to manage the entire process of 360° appraisal. It could not be easier: select your competencies from the comprehensive list, enter participants and invite them to complete the online appraisal, then generate a report.

The competencies

360° Manager uses a framework comprising 9 broad competency groups that, through international research, have been found to be generic and important areas influencing individual and organisational performance. Each competency area includes five individual competencies as shown below:

Custom Competencies

GeneSys 360° Manager offers the ability to create your own Custom Competencies along with your own questions. These competencies can then be included with the above inbuilt competencies, or you can choose to use your own competencies only.

Easy set up

One respondent is always assigned as the subject of the assessment - the 'Self' role. Additional respondents can be assigned roles according to their work relationship to the subject of the assessment - 'Boss', 'Peer', 'Subordinate' and one custom role for you to define. There are no limits to the number of people you include in a 360° appraisal. Once all the roles have been assigned, email invitations can be sent to all the raters with one click. This email includes a link to the personalised online assessment which the raters can complete at their own convenience. Once the appraisals have been undertaken, you can generate a report which will include all customisation.

Self Rater Selection

GeneSys 360° Manager now offers the ability to allow the 'Self' to choose their own raters. The Administrator then has the option to review these raters before inviting them to take part in the 360° appraisal or adding their own preferred raters to the session.

The Report

360° Manager provides a highly detailed report covering all the selected competencies. With a specific focus on facilitating self awareness and personal development, the report not only highlights overall rated competencies but how self-ratings vary from all other participant groups in both graphic and narrative formats.
